HVAC Design Engineer

 

Profinitum is a young company that provides independent Project Management Services in the field of construction and real estate. We are currently looking for a HVAC Design Engineer to design our HVAC projects on the Nigerian market.

 

 

Your tasks:

As a key employee with the company you will be responsible for designing our projects, assisting the sales team in designing and calculating the installation projects and taking responsibility for the design and BOQ submittals. You will need to have a strong technical grounding in the HVAC engineering and design as well as proven project experience. Credibility, good customer interface, confidence in technical presentations.

​

You will be stationed in Bulgaria but business trips to Nigeria will be required.

An engineering degree or equivalent level qualification will be essential for this post along with proven HVAC design and Management experience. Experience with a leading Japanese HVAC manufacturer is a strong added value.

​

He/she will manage projects from conception to the final approval. In short a demanding but rewarding function in a strong group with a sound financial background.

 

On mid-term a detachment to Africa might be discussed if desired by the candidate.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Make estimations and designs for new projects

• Establish Bill of Material for these projects

• Evaluate projects for potential value engineering options and discuss with stakeholders for approval

• Review design and submission drawings

• Proactive coordination with sales engineers/ local engineers and stakeholders for effective planning of works.

• Ensuring that all information / drawings are issued / conveyed to the workforce in a proper manner and details produced are in compliance to the requirement.

 

 

Your profile:

• Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent disciplines.

• Strong technical grounding in the HVAC designs and selections.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design and project management for HVAC projects

• Credibility, good customer interface, confidence in technical presentations

• Should have excellent planning & team management skills.

• Be able to meet deadlines in all circumstances.

• Self-driven, motivated, tireless and determined
